Frequently Asked Questions

What is the typical power of an LED lawn light? What area is suitable for lighting?

Power and Coverage:   

3W-5W: A single lamp has a 1.5-2m illumination radius, suitable for path edges or decorative areas (e.g., four lamps in an 8㎡ area);   

10W: Covers a 3-4m radius, suitable for accent lighting in the center of a lawn; 

Multiple lamps: A total power of 0.5-1W per square meter is recommended to avoid excessive brightness and light pollution.

What is the difference between IP65 and IP67 waterproof ratings for lawn lights?

Waterproof Rating Comparison:   

 IP65 | Rainproof (spray test) | Withstands daily water exposure, but prolonged water accumulation may penetrate 

IP67 | Withstands temporary immersion up to 1 meter | Suitable for low-lying areas prone to water accumulation (such as around fountains)   

✅ Recommendation: Choose IP65 for ordinary lawns, choose IP67 around water features and install drainage holes.

How long can solar lawn lights last in rainy winter weather?

Battery life (based on a 6W lamp with a 2000mAh battery):

Sunny: Charge during the day, stay on for 8 hours at night, for 3 days of continuous operation;     

Rainy: Battery life is reduced to 1-2 nights (optional dual photovoltaic panels can increase charging efficiency by 30%).   

⚠ Note: Temperatures below -20°C require a low-temperature lithium battery (such as lithium iron phosphate).
