Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the life of your LED street lights?

We use high-quality LED chips and driver power supplies, with a nominal life of 50,000 hours (about 10-12 years). Actual measured data shows that the L70 life (when the light decay is 30%) exceeds 60,000 hours. Key components such as IP66 waterproof housing, aluminum alloy heat sink and constant current driver power supply jointly ensure long-term and stable operation. It is recommended to check the sealing performance every 5 years to extend the actual service life.

Does the installation of LED street lights require changes to the original line?

Usually no modification is required. Standard LED street lights support 100-277V wide voltage input and are compatible with most national power grids. If the original lamp is a high-pressure sodium lamp, it is necessary to confirm whether the power supply of the lamp pole matches (such as the ballast needs to be removed). It is recommended to keep the original line layout, just replace the lamp and check the cable insulation. Special voltage requirements (such as 480V) require a customized drive power supply.

What does the protection level IP66 of the lamp mean?

IP66 means complete dustproof (the first 6) and strong water spray protection (the second 6). Specifically: ① Dustproof: foreign objects with a diameter of ≥1mm cannot enter, and it is completely sealed against sand and dust; ② Waterproof: 12.5L/min water flow is sprayed from the nozzle (3 meters away from the lamp body) at multiple angles for 3 minutes without leakage. This level ensures that the lamp can work stably in heavy rain, typhoon or dusty environment.
