When selecting the luminous flux of an LED floodlight, consider three key factors:

Illumination area: Required illuminance per square meter x illuminated area = total lumens required. For example, a parking lot typically requires 50-100 lux, so a 100-square-meter parking lot would require 5,000-10,000 lumens (keyword: lumen calculation).

Installation height: 5,000-10,000 lumens is recommended for heights of 3-5 meters, while 10,000-20,000 lumens is recommended for heights of 5-8 meters.

Lighting standards: Road lighting, building facade lighting, and other areas have corresponding national standards. Our LED outdoor floodlights offer a variety of options, ranging from 5,000 lumens to 50,000 lumens (high-lumen LED floodlights), and we offer professional lighting design services, allowing us to simulate lighting effects based on CAD drawings.

The IP rating is a key consideration when selecting outdoor lighting fixtures:

IP65: Completely dustproof and resistant to low-pressure water jets (dustproof and waterproof fixtures)

IP66: Completely dustproof and resistant to high-pressure water jets. For ordinary outdoor locations such as building exteriors and courtyards, IP65 is sufficient; however, IP66 is recommended for harsh environments such as docks and coastal areas.
