What's customized dimming profile?

The so-called dimming profile refers to a specific timer dimming function. Rural roads and urban roads have different needs for dimming configurations. At the same time, the timer dimming function of lamps can be customized. For example, rural roads usually have fewer people after 10 p.m., and the dimming curve can be maintained at 100% brightness from 18:00 to 22:00, and adjusted to 50% brightness from 22:00 to 06:00; while the situation on urban roads may require delaying the time by 1-2 hours. The dimming curve can be set to maintain 100% brightness from 18:00 to 24:00, and adjust to 50% brightness from 24:00 to 06:00. Dali +timer dimming or 0-10V+timer dimming?

Dimming profile uses the dimming function of the lamp. For example, if 0-10V + timer dimming is used, after setting the timer dimming of the lamp, the controller sends a 0-10V dimming signal to the power supply of the lamp, but the power supply will not perform the dimming operation. And if your lamp is configured with Dali + timer dimming, then after setting the timer dimming, the controller sends a Dali dimming signal to the power supply of the lamp, and the power supply can still execute the instructions of the Dali signal. However, it should be noted that the cost of lamps in the latter is often much higher than that in the former. If your budget is limited, it is recommended to choose the former; if your budget is sufficient, it is best to choose the latter.

Which power supplies can be configured with timer dimming function?

Power supply manufacturers such as Inventronics, Osram, Philips, Done, and Meanwell all provide scheduled dimming functions. CHZ recommends using the timed dimming function of Inventronics, because Inventronics is comparable to Philips and Osram in terms of dimming and product quality, and the price is more affordable. If your budget is limited, Dong’s power supply is also a good choice.

Product Description

CHZ-FL44 High-power freely assembled module LED floodlight

A. Very innovative design style, realize the assembly of 1 to 5 modules, the assembly and maintenance process is simple.

B. The radiator is made of 6063 aviation aluminum material with good heat dissipation effect.

C. Special spray treatment on the surface of the lamp, strong resistance to salt spray corrosion, suitable for harsh environments.

D. Adapt to high-quality SMD3737 or SMD2835 lamp beads, and high-quality constant current drive, stable performance and long life; the overall protection level reaches IP66.

E. Adopt high transmittance PC lens, vaiours beam angle, such as 10°/25°/40°/60°/90° or 65°x25° are optional, suitable for different application scenarios.

F. The modules can be assembled freely, and the power of each module can be adjusted from 150W to 250W, which is very suitable for customers to do DIY.
