Why are high-end LED floodlights so expensive?

Professional installation directly impacts the performance and lifespan of your lamp:

Before installation:

Check the voltage (AC 220V/110V/347V, etc.)

Check that the waterproof connectors are intact

During installation:

Maintain the minimum mounting distance (recommended 1.5 times the lamp body length)

Use 304 stainless steel brackets (rust-resistant mounting accessories)

Point the cable outlet downward to prevent water accumulation

Protect the power cord with a drip bend

After installation:

Test the waterproof performance

What precautions should be taken when installing LED floodlights?

Approximately 60% of LED floodlights on the market claiming IP65 ratings actually fail to meet the standard. Here's how to identify them:

First:

Are there silicone seals on the fixture seams?

Are there waterproof washers in the screw holes?

Is the vent valve a labyrinthine structure?

Second:

Dust test: Open the cover and inspect after 24 hours of operation in a dusty environment.

Water spray test: Use a fire hose at a distance of 1 meter for 10 minutes.

Third:

Request a third-party test report.

Verify the report number's authenticity.

Why do LED floodlights require a constant current driver?

The constant current driver is the heart of the LED lighting system, and its importance lies in:

Voltage fluctuation protection: Maintains constant output current when the grid voltage fluctuates between 180V and 265V (wide-voltage LED driver);

Extended lifespan: Prevents current surges from causing LED chip degradation;

Stable luminous efficacy: Prevents brightness flickering due to voltage fluctuations. Our engineering-grade floodlights feature:

Multi-level protection circuits (overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, and lightning strike);

Automatic temperature compensation;

Over 95% conversion efficiency. The driver comes with a 5-year warranty, an MTBF >50,000 hours, and is UL/cUL certified. An optional intelligent driver is available, enabling 0-10V/PWM/DALI dimming.

The FL39 of our floodlight is a brand new approach for energy saving and smart living. It is a floodlight that could benefit companies, distributors and end-users.

Having the sensor attached, the FL39 can detect people/objects approaching. Then it will adjust the lighting at 1-10V, therefore ensuring energy saving without sacrificing the lighting effect. It could also be used at garage doors. Teaming the FL39 up with a CCTV camera will help with security as well.

For small powers from 10 to 100W, it's possible to add a motion sensor for energy saving, while remaining high IP level (IP66) and high LED chip quality for the whole lifespan of this light.
